Located within the heritage streetscape of Unley and designed by architect Swanbury Penglase, the Live Well House is a carefully considered residential project. Inspired by Japanese and mid-century architectural principles, the design has a strong focus on sustainability and connection to the gardens and water features.

Extensive glazing was carefully integrated throughout the residence to maximise natural light, ventilation and thermal performance.

Careful project coordination was required throughout construction, particularly to ensure all glazing and access works were completed ahead of the delivery and installation of mature landscaped planting that had been cultivated off-site for more than a year in preparation for the project.

The completed residence delivers a highly resolved living environment where architecture, landscape and natural elements exist in harmony.
