Completed in 2024, the Trinity College St Yves Campus in Roseworthy represents a significant investment in education across Adelaide's northern suburbs. Delivered over three stages, the development provides state-of-the-art facilities for Reception to Year 6 students, alongside an Early Learning Centre, Gymnasium, and Outside School Hours Care facility.
Aluco was engaged to fabricate, supply, and install a range of aluminium window, door, and glazing systems throughout the campus. The large glass curtain walls positioned at either end of the main building are a standout feature, incorporating plant-on adaptors fixed to structural steel framing to create a striking architectural statement.
Natural light was a key design consideration, with high-level glazing installed along a lengthy atrium space to brighten internal areas. Large operable sliding door systems were incorporated throughout the building, allowing classrooms to seamlessly connect and adapt to changing educational needs.
The gymnasium presented a unique challenge, with feature raked / shaped framing and glass using custom laminate glazing throughout.
Aluco also delivered feature aluminium battens which were used as a sun break over the main entrance, adding both visual impact and functional performance to this landmark educational facility.
