Completed in 2023, the new Balhannah tasting room doubled the size of the former space, and allows Shaw + Smith to host functions of up to 60 guests. The new ground floor and mezzanine façades were carefully designed to complement the original window and door arrangements.
Our scope included the complete aluminium window and door package to the new addition, including framing, glazing and hardware, along with refurbishment works to the existing building. These works included replacement flashings and hardware upgrades. A standout feature of the project is the series of generous bifold doors that open completely to the vineyard setting, creating a seamless transition to the landscape beyond.
