This Semaphore Park Residence is a landmark coastal home positioned on a rare 40-metre beachfront allotment. Nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the residence was conceived as an architectural statement that fully embraces uninterrupted views of the ocean. Aluco delivered the full external and internal aluminium window, door, glazing and hardware package.

Given the extreme coastal exposure, all systems were specified with robust, commercial-grade materials to resist salt air corrosion and intense solar loading. Large-format double sliding doors open directly to the beachfront, while extensive glass balustrading ensures uninterrupted sightlines from every level.

Internally, expansive glazing and structural steel elements create a refined industrial aesthetic, softened by natural light that floods through the home throughout the day. A suspended curved roof—rolled on site from a single sheet of metal using specialist machinery—wraps the structure like a breaking wave, reinforcing the architectural concept. The result is a fully automated coastal residence that took three years to complete, delivering seamless indoor-outdoor living with direct beach access just metres away.
