Aluco completed all aluminium window and door framing, hardware and glazing for the landmark B Apartments development in Bowden, South Australia.

The seven-storey project consists of 86 apartments and has become one of the most recognisable residential buildings within the rapidly evolving Bowden precinct.

Positioned alongside Bowden Town Square, Kevin Taylor Park and the local markets, the development was designed to promote higher-density urban living while maintaining a strong sense of community and connection to surrounding public spaces. The architectural vision intentionally divided the building into multiple distinct forms, creating the appearance of a “community of buildings” rather than a single monolithic structure.

Extensive glazing throughout the project was central to achieving this vision. Large windows and door systems were designed to maximise natural light, ventilation and uninterrupted views across the surrounding parklands. The project also achieved a 5-Star Green Star rating, reflecting its strong sustainability focus and commitment to environmentally conscious urban design.
